I’m special!

I’m special

So here I am in front of the glass
-Oh! My hair looks like grass!
The adults say I’m special
– Nah…I don’t see any potential!

Hmm..let’s see… I have a head of course
-Ok, it could ‘ve been worse…
with eyes, hair, ears, mouth, nose
but I already know all of those…

I also have a body,
just like everybody…
With hands, feet and a fat tummy
from the food cooked by mummy.

I also have there a tiny spot,
a little bigger than a laser dot.
The spot and my golden hair
my grandma thinks are rare!

Now that I mentioned hair
they have never been fair.
Always, always a mess
and that is annoying more or less.

And as for my eyes…
…hey! I didn’t realize…
as I look closer they shine!
And now that sounds… divine!

Beautiful eyes, one would say,
but don’t look at my nose right away!
These allergies make me feel down…
Do I look like a clown?

I admit “clown” doesn’t sound bad,
this is the profession of my dad!
I’d like one day to also be one
and give happiness and joy to everyone.

That’s why I act goofy with my friends.
I make them laugh to no ends.
When I start telling funny stories
we ‘re loud and have no worries.

But wait a minute… was my mum maybe right?
When she called me “special” last night?
Is this a life lesson to learn?
A big advantage to earn?

All these details that I mentioned before
make me “myself”, someone special therefore.
Someone special and unique
I can bare no critique…

Believe it kids, all people look alike
but they’re not identical that’s right.
Our world is full of variety,
it will never be boring, no anxiety!
